A second of the five days at the Work Experience expo is scheduled for the day after the aforementioned admissions session. This session will be held in an effort to provide students with all the information they will need for the Waec Exam, but it is also used as a class field trip. On this day, participants will go around to different vendors and areas within the convention center to conduct individual interviews with potential employers and to ask questions regarding the subjects answers cost, topics in terms of salary and the like. You can tell a great deal from these interviews as employers will be looking for someone who not only seems knowledgeable, but also someone who appears to have an interest in the job.
One of the biggest trends that is seen at the 2021 Expo is the growing number of employers putting their money into acquiring civic education trainees. These employers will be looking to hire individuals who already have strong health science backgrounds and who seem to be well thought out, passionate about the subjects they are teaching and willing to put in the time to really learn what they are teaching. The health science/community college education student exhibits strong skills that could make them a great employee and a great citizen. Looking at the rising numbers of applicants at the MLA and WASC expos, it appears as though this trend will only continue to grow in the coming years and well into the future.
